It varies. Modules are hand-built when you order them, and the time required changes depending on workload, parts availability, etc. Please contact [email protected] for an up-to-date estimate of production time.
No, you will need to provide your own +/-15V power supply. Wessex Analogue recommends Hinton Instruments FullPower PSUs for all of our systems.
In most cases, yes! Wiard 300 modules are designed to be repairable, and we aim to keep repairs as affordable as possible. Repairs are billed at £35/hr for bench time, plus any required replacement parts. It may be possible to quote a flat rate for a defined service, such as replacing pots or upgrading jacks from 3.5mm to bantam. Send an email to [email protected] and explain your problem.
They are a tight fit by design (to prevent unsightly gaps between the modules), so you need to place your modules in the frame, and start the threads of screws, but don't tighten them yet. It's actually much easier to do this on the floor, with the modules on their backs and the module panels facing up, before you put the frame in a rack. Then you can jiggle them around and adjust their positions as needed (the sliding nuts will move) for a perfect fit, and finally tighten the screws.
